Kayne Eras is a one-of-a-kind school where TK-12 students with special needs have opportunities to grow in their own unique ways. Our Experiential Learning program provides essential academics enhanced by music, dance, sports, field trips, theater, poetry, film, science and the use of virtual reality. We also offer supportive therapies based on each child’s needs.

Meet Unique

Unique came to ECF’s Kayne Eras School as a fourth grader with challenges that prevented her from learning. Now in seventh grade, she loves to help classmates and please her teachers. “I love math because it’s easy,” she said. She enjoys playing the recorder, cheerleading, singing in school performances and doing community service.

With the help of her teacher, counselor and educational and speech therapists, Unique is improving her reading skills and striving to be more accountable. She communicates more and expresses her emotions appropriately. “They’re helping me calm down,” she said.

“Someday, I’d like to be a singer. Or a woman’s football coach.”
