Community Integration Programs

Community Fusion Program

The Community Fusion Program serves adults who have moderate to profound developmental disabilities.

Approximately 50% have a high need for assistance with their daily living activities. The full-day Community Fusion program offers participants training in self-help, aiming to increase their vocational, recreational, and social skills.

Clients also participate in health and fitness, outings and volunteer activities, which are specifically geared to aging adults and senior citizens with special needs.

Located at 1817 S Central Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90021.

Exceptional Community Connections

Exceptional Community Connections provides clients with opportunities to participate in meaningful community-based service and volunteer activities as a vehicle to increase their socialization and engagement in the community. Partnerships and collaborative projects are in place with businesses and community service organizations in Inglewood, Culver City and West Los Angeles. Clients play a valued role in each of these communities while developing relationships with individuals and community-based organizations.

One example of a volunteer opportunity includes clients working with Meals on Wheels, helping prepare and deliver meals to senior citizens and other home-bound community members who enjoy the companionship that comes from volunteer visits.

Located in ECF’s Exceptional Building at 420 E. Hyde Park, Inglewood, CA 90302.

Individual Pathways

Individual Pathways provides in-depth transitional plans for adults, particularly young adults, to help them access community resources and gain more training and skill development to enter the job market, or engage in community volunteering.

Located in ECF’s Whittier Art Center at 15141 Whittier Blvd Suite 300, Whittier, CA 90603.
