Anil Ravanat

Anil serves as Vice Chairperson of the ECF Board of Directors, as well as Co-Chair of the ECF Associates Board and Chair of the Governance Committee. As Chair of the Governance Committee Anil has been instrumental in advancing the goals and initiatives of the ECF 2023-2026 Strategic Plan for the ongoing growth and impact of our mission. He has a commitment to mentoring new Associates Board members and as Co-Chair of the Associates Board helped to guide and develop a new Associates Board fundraising event this year, Legendary Bingo at Hamburger Mary’s, to benefit ECF. He also has attended Board matching events to recruit prospective board members to join ECF. His wife, Michelle, also contributes the Ranavat product line of cosmetics for ECF fundraising events. Despite the demands of his business as Chief Executive Officer of Cedar Porch Capital, and his responsibilities to his young family, Anil is dedicated to participating in ECF’s fundraising events and actively engages in outreach to develop the next generation of ECF volunteers and supporters.

Thomas Hopkins

Tom has served on ECF’s Board of Directors since 2018 and currently serves as Treasurer. A seasoned financial service professional and Vice President for U.S. Bank, Tom also has served as Chair of the ECF Board of Directors Budget & Finance Committee for the past four years. Thomas has supported and attended all of ECF’s fundraising events, including attending all of this year’s series of program Open House Tours, actively engaging in learning and sharing our ECF program goals and impact upon the clients served. His wife Janet shares his commitment to ECF, volunteering at events such as the ECF Golf Benefit this year. In addition, Tom’s company, U.S. Bank, has provided significant sponsorships, grants, and support for ECF, including support for the ECF Exceptional Works program, Golf Benefit and Giving Tuesday campaign.

Monty Zimmerman

Monty serves as Vice Treasurer of the ECF Board of Directors, and as Chair of ECF’s Investment and Retirement Committee, helping to steward and plan for the future financial welfare of ECF and our employees. He has co-hosted ECF’s last two lively Gala auctions, generating critical funds for programs and services. This year, Monty was responsible for connecting ECF to a source that has provided innovative training for Kayne Eras School staff and teachers on methodology for incorporating music in educational planning and instruction. Monty and his family are passionate supporters of ECF. His wife, Julia, is a member of ECF’s longtime partner and support group, SHARE, Inc.
